there's also those like lindsey graham spinning furiously on the president's behalf. there has been a lot of silence and everything politically seems to be balanced on a nice edge. i'm joined by mike tester, a democrat. senator, your reaction to what we've learned today. >> well, it's disturbing. i think any time you have a president that requests a foreign government to do research and to one of his political adversaries is wrong on all sorts of fronts. so i'd just say very, very disturbing. i'm not on intel or foreign services so i don't get a lot of the documents but i hope to get all the documents of the whistle-blower complaint and the i. ghmpt, we've got the transcript of the conversation. >> so you think the whistle-blower complaint should be made more publicly available. >> absolutely. i'm a big believer in transparency and i think we need to get the information so we can base off the facts make good decisions for the country.
