-- congressman thank you for being with us. you hear that statement from house times, talking about what you think the appetite actually looks like to get something done on capitol hill. >> i think we have a really strong appetite to get something done. this point seems like we're off living in terror, especially in the state of florida. this war against walker the governor has had has really translated to a war against black people, against african americans or anybody who appears to be black in the state of florida. at this point, we're just terrified. i'm terrified for myself, my children, my family, especially since the gunman went on at edward waters university campus first. luckily, we also had police officer who got him off the security guard who got him off this campus in many lives. we just can't wait on security officer. we have to make sure that congress is actually passing something that can actually stop this. we heard people talk about raising the age to 21, the state of florida did that, but that did not stop this man from taking our lives. we also have to hold a gun accountable for his policies.
