it's one of those things that the majority of the american public doesn't know. there's thousands of indigenous people in this country, women, girls, people that have been murdered and missing. it's a systematic issue. oftentimes, when families will go to report their loved ones that are missing or something's happened, law enforcement, nine times of ten they won't do something about. it again, it goes back to this issue of erasure. what that erasure, does it dehumanizes. even the people the perpetrators of this, they don't say also seem. and they see us as less than human. the stories are so similar. non natives will come on to reservations, they would literally go hunting and go after our women, our girls, our people. >> i think one of the sad things about, that they're not helping you look for the perpetrators. they're not helping you search for them. and that happens and a lot of reservations. the tribal pd won't do anything. it's like, hello, these are your people. >> i will add to that, it
