around. the massive earthquake damaged the runway and power was out at the airport a. the students were heading to chile for a weeklong trip as part of their mba program. i was disappointed about the trim and so sad about what happened in santiago. reporter: they had been on the plane for about 30 hours and then arrived back in baltimore. a group from the university of tennessee also had their trip canceled. icy roads over the weekend made for a near death experience for an officer. this video is hard to watch. an out-of-control car spun into the officer on the side of the road. this is 146 in brooklyn heights. lieutenant john lambert pushed a driver out of the way, perhaps saving his life before he took the brunt of the hit. the officer lost consciousness for four minutes and then woke up at the hospital. the 22-year-old veteran is expected to be all right. in florida, a tractor- trailer driver was killed when his rig that he was driving in was involved in a pileup with several other trucks. the man didn t stop his truck in time to avoid colliding with the back of another tractor- trailer and the force of that crash pushed one truck into a third big rig. they say about 200 gallons of diesel fuel spilled out on to the interstate in this crash. jenny sanford and south carolina governor mark sanford are close to being divorce. friday a judge granted her request to divorce her husband of 20 years. he admitted to having an international affair. but mrs. sanford said she has no hard feelings. it s the end of a 20-year marriage. it s not cause for celebration. it s a
