cornell is accused of having inappropriate contact with a 14-year-old student. been on leave since february mt. a woman will need extensive plastic surgery, a dog bit her lips off on rose theater circle in olney. tracee wilkins talked with neighbors. >> reporter: neighbors tell me she is called the dog whisperer of the neighborhood. she has such a good relationship with the animals that if someone is having a problem with their dog, that is who they take the animal to see. now, she is recovering from an unexpected dog attack. this olney suburb is the perfect neighborhood for dog lovers. >> almost every single house has a dog or two. >> reporter: part of the reason so many people here are shocked by yesterday's dog attack. he saw the woman who was attacked. >> i saw a young lady sitting on the grass and two other people helping her out she was bleeding around her face. >> reporter: animal control officials say a 24-year-old woman was walking her parents rottweiler when the dog attacked the neighbor. everyone involved lives in the neighborhood, they all know one another. >> the neighbor i saw helping her out was really stressed out and she -- i was looking at her face, i recognized her, i knew something was terribly wrong. >> reporter: animal control officials say the woman was severely injured, will require a number of plastic surgeries to correct the damage done. the incident has left people who live here wondering how this will now impact this dog-lovers paradise. >> we are dog lovers, when something like that happens, when look at ourselves and say my dog would never do that, but there are certain breeds that do stuff like that. >> reporter: montgomery county animal control will be investigating to try to figure out exactly what led to the attack. in the meantime, the dolg is now restricted to the homeowner home it can go outside to relieve itself and then back in the house. no visiting public spaces. that is going to be the deal over the next ten days or at least until the investigation is wrapped up. in olney tracee wilkins, news4. a group of animal lovers are asking maryland governor to reverse a maryland court ruling that deemed all pit bulls as dangerous. the baltimore sun votes groups are calling the governor to ask him to override the decision. the ruling means people attacked by pit bulls longer have to prove prior violent behavior. owners are liable for damages. a landlord is also liable if the attack happens on their property. taking a look outside, cloudy, dark morning, later wet weather, we think is on the way. let's ask tom kierein about that. >> tlas good chance by later this afternoon, the sky is dark we had shafts of sunlight from time to time, areas south and ooe east of washington. generally in the 70s eastern shore, areas in southern maryland, in virginia from fredericksburg south, but farther north the areas in green in the 60s, north and west of washington, reagan national is at 70 degrees and view from space with the radar over the last 12 hours showing a lot of rain passing north of washington this morning, beginning to take a bit of a jog farther to the east now, and the radar showing the leading edge of any rain is in the shenandoah valley, northern prince william, drifting north and east, loudon county, no thunder and lightning yet, that may develop around the metro area by later this afternoon. so, have an umbrella handy for the next several hours, rain and maybe thunder and lightning by late afternoon as temperatures hit the 70s. overnight tonight, more rain, we'll look at that and big change for the end of the week in the weekend and just a few minutes. barbara? >> they do a braid that goes across the back and take a curved needle and literally sew them in your hair. >> how many hours does that -- >> they can take up to six to eight hours. >> to do a full head of hair. >> you have several others. these are what? >> these are clip-ones, the clip-ons are most generally used for women who want to do this by themselves and take a less expensive way than going to a salon. but they are very time-consuming, it takes a lot of if i necessafinesse and you e them to stick. >> you brought models with you. let's look at model, they appear to have long hair, they really don't have long hair. >> can you toss your heads around. let's see, can you take that hair off to see how easy it is to come off?
