PHOTO | AFP Advertisement The United States has renewed its targeted sanctions against Zimbabwe citing President Emmerson Mnangagwa's reluctance to roll out political and economic reforms. US President Joe Biden, in a letter to Congress, said in the last year Zimbabwe's security services had committed several human rights violations. "Actions and policies of certain members of the government of Zimbabwe and other persons undermine Zimbabwe’s democratic processes or continue to pose an unusual and extraordinary threat to the foreign policy of the United States," President Biden said.
