July 27, 2021 The Golden State Warriors have the 7th and 14th picks in the 2021 NBA Draft, and it looks like their plan is to improve depth behind Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson should they retain the picks. According to Connor Letourneau of San Francisco Chronicle, the Warriors are considering Josh Giddey for the 7th pick in the draft. The Dubs were reportedly impressed by Giddey’s poise during his appearance for Australia in their pre-Olympic showdown against Nigeria. The 18-year-old posted 14 points, four rebounds and three assists in the exhibition win, showing not only his elite passing ability but also his much improved jumper.
