The university has submitted a plan to the state regents those stands are about 30 years old. And the university did not update them during the 2006 kinnick renovation project. This is a look at renderings for the project. The proposed renovation would replace the existing general admission seating with upper and lower general admission seating bowls. If youre not going to in 470 to slow that traffic down, lets make it legal. Todd one driver we talked with lung interstate north of des moines agrees. Most of the people are going that speed anyway, so if someone is going 70 they are actually slowing the traffic down. The thing is, they go fast enough as it is. In the winter time, people need to slow down. You know, its a trade off. If you want to look at safety and thats all you want to look at, it should be 25 to 30 miles an hour. Is dead set against raising the speed limit.
