Friends say the victim is at home, recovering, after being hit by a car while walking home. The Sheriffs Department is investigating. An afternoon crash on this quiet residential street left a teenager hurt and those who witnessed that crash startled it happened around 3 30 tuesday afternoon. A 15year old boy was walking on Hickory Ridge road and hit by a vehicle. Jeff fulwiler heard it. It sounded really serious the crash happened right outside his house. Fulwiler called 911. A couple of his family members ran out to the ditch he wasnt moving so i was like, oh man, i dont know how bad he was Family Friends say the teen who lives on this block suffered a broken wrist, concussion and bruised ribs.
