Four Allentown projects, including the redevelopment of the Little Lehigh public housing complex in Center City, are receiving a combined $2.75 million in grant money from the state’s Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program, Sen. Pat Browne and Reps. Mike Schlossberg and Peter Schweyer announced Thursday.
The city will create an $18 million ‘pool’ available for local businesses and nonprofits to apply for: $16 million of which will go to ‘negative economic impacts’ and $2 million for public health initiatives.
