AWS releases tool to open source that turns on-prem software into SaaS – TechCrunch

AWS releases tool to open source that turns on-prem software into SaaS
AWS announced today that it’s releasing a tool called AWS SaaS Boost as open source distributed under the Apache 2.0 license. The tool, which was first announced at the AWS re:Invent conference last year, is designed to help companies transform their on-prem software into cloud-based software as a service.
In the charter for the software, the company describes its mission this way: “Our mission is to create a community-driven suite of extensible building blocks for Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) builders. Our goal is to foster an open environment for developing and sharing reusable code that accelerates the ability to deliver and operate multi-tenant SaaS solutions on AWS.”

Intelligent wok, an automated fryer, and a kitchen station with visual AI: how Rebel Foods is tapping IoT to s

tawas and auto fryers.
All this automation is part of stage one of Rebel Foods’ tech rollout plan. The intelligent machines have presently been installed in 50 kitchens, and the cloud kitchen operator plans to roll them out in 100 more kitchens in FY22.
Soumyadeep Barman, Chief Product Officer, co-founder, Rebel Foods, says the foodtech startup has solved several problems through technology.

“We created a tech platform that works as the core. Culinary delight and technology are the two big pieces inside our operating system’s puzzle. From procurement and warehousing to supply chain, kitchen ops, and delivery, everything runs on a platform that has been built in-house by our tech and product teams. This platform runs at a base level wherever we operate, be it India, Indonesia, Dubai, UK, or Malaysia, and includes everything from orders and delivery to customer management and learning management,” Soumyadeep says.

India's largest online lending platform: Apply for loans from anywhere, anytime and get in-principle approvals

Despite the wide banking network, Indian MSMEs still face challenges while securing finance from formal banking channels due to convoluted lending procedures, tedious paperwork, inflexible collateral requirements and slow disbursements. On the other hand, it takes a considerable amount of time and effort for a lender to collect data and verify it before taking the proposal ahead.
In 2016, Jinand Shah, a practising CA who was trying to raise funds for small companies, wondered if there was a possibility to digitise the process, so that MSMEs could get the funding faster. While conversing with Ronak Shah over a cricket match, he got the answer and together, they decided to start Online PSB Loans. "We are striving to create an ecosystem that can provide financial services to both parties involved in the lending transaction, using the latest technology," says

Parler says Amazon intentionally let hackers attack data centers

https://www.afinalwarning.com/490449.html
(Natural News)
Parler is accusing Amazon of deliberately leaving a back door open in their data center, leaving the former open to attack from hackers.
In a recent court filing, Parler states that Amazon Web Services (AWS) deliberately left Amazon Route 53, a domain name system (DNS) web service, open after AWS took Parler down. According to Parler, this “conveniently directed hackers to our backup datacenters and caused them to initiate a sizeable DNS attack.”
“AWS essentially illuminated a large neon arrow directing hackers to Parler’s backup datacenters,” the filing reads. It notes that this led to the servers experiencing an “extremely large attack” that was “250 times larger and 12 – 24 times longer” than most distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks.
