Were going to see us warm up very nicely. Nantucket already checking in this morning at 40 degrees. One of the reasons why, youre going to feel these winds today out of the south and west. As we go through the afternoon they really ramp up. Anywhere from about 1020 miles an hour. Were going to see mostly cloudy skies today. But look at these temperatures this afternoon. Upper 40s in boston. Low 50s on the south shore, the cape, and the islands. We will take that. Of course, theres one caveat to this. We could have a couple of hitormiss rain showers around. Right now this morning its just a mostly cloudy start out there. But we are watching this area you see. A couple of showers developing here. System. Its a warm front that will lift through the region as we head through the afternoon today. Starting out this morning, out in western mass, you have to be careful especially in the berkshires. So as we go through the next 12 hours, say, in the boston area, we are going to warm up into the mid to upper 40s, maybe pushing 50 degrees. And there are going to be some clouds around. Youre going to notice those winds out of the south and west at about 1020 sustained. Gusts over 30. Thats how we warm up so much especially the farther south ....
