SIR – I have been reading with some amusement the various comments on the Conservatives’ abysmal showing at the local elections (report, May 5).
SIR – Rishi Sunak is imploring voters not to put Labour in power by switching to Reform UK, following the Conservatives’ Kingswood and Wellingborough by-election losses (report, telegraph.co.uk, February 16).
SIR – Katharine Birbalsingh – the head teacher of Michaela Community School, which faces a High Court challenge for its ban on prayer rituals (report, January 18) – deserves support.
SIR – I am a retired nurse, midwife and health visitor, and have been saddened by the nurses’ strike (report, December 15).
SIR – The Conservative Party’s behaviour (which I hesitate to describe as “running the country”) is degenerating into farce.
