Called in around 5 45 p. M. , and was well underway with flames shooting out of the multistory Apartment Building under construction in the 2000 block of University Avenue near shattuck. A nearby restaurant worker watch build inning get swallowed up in flames shortly after the fire broke out. The fire flames, too much fire flames, middle part of the building. Rules go into effect, aimed at stopping the effect of covid. The stay at home order is not as restrictive as the one in march. But it applies to all counties in the purple tier. That means all bay area counties except for three. That could change if the counties slide from red to purple. All things they wont be able to do after 10 00 tonight when state leaders implement what they call a limited stay at home order. The curfew will end at 5 00 tomorrow morning and people here seem to take it in stride. We have no problem with it. And whatever helps curb the virus is great with us. I think 10 00 is a reasonable time. I think the restaurants are only open for Outdoor Dining anyways and its colder now so i think no one wants to sit outside after 10 00 anyway, so i think its a reasonable time.
