So, were sorry that we are missing him today, but, you know, his friends here in new orleans are certainly thinking about him. To lead this session, we have called on one of the most distinguished military historians that were very fortunate to have right up the road here at the university of new orleans, dr. Allan millett. His career has not only filled many bookshelves, but he has also fill the ranks of military history phds by overseeing the most doctoral candidates of anyone in the country.
