Weve learned shes from northern kentucky. The Fayette County coroner has identified the hiker as mary stewart of kenton county. She fell while at the raven run nature sanctuary. The facility is closed because of the accident. She slipped and fell over a cliff to her death saturday afternoon. It took rescue crews nearly an hour to reach her body by trying to rappel down the cliff. Once stewarts body was recovered, a boat that they were in capsized with both rescuers and the victim on board. Raven run sanctuarys closed until further notice now. Campbell county who was driving the car the plunged off the combs hehl bridge and into the ohio river heres some Surveillance Video of that incident. It was captured from a home on the kentucky side of the river. This video is a big piece in the investigation. Officers say they were contacted by a family about a missing relative that hasnt been seen since the time of the accident. That person apparently drives the same type of car that crashed. Its a strong possibility that we believe we know who might be. Had been driving at the time the vehicle went over the bridge. Butted to for us, the most important aspect of this recovery is the occupants in the vehicle so were not going to rush anything that might distrub that. The car is secondary. Now, investigators but say that person used the bridge frequently. Dive crews will attemp to locate any occupants when the river current slows down. That could be tuesday or wednesday. Devel ....

The visit shut down fifth street and vine street around the westin for several hours this morning traffic downtown. You could see Cincinnati Police officers and secret Service Agents up and down the block. The Vice President spoke at a private fundraiser for former governor Ted Strickland who is in a senate race with incumbent rob portman. Tickets for the event started at 500 dollars.
