36 with new fatalities reported today in napa, mendocino and sonoma counties. 19 people have been killed in the tubbs fire alone which is now the third deadliest fire in california history behind the Oakland Hills firestorm in 1991 and the Griffith Park fire in los angeles in the 1930s.
