New Delhi [India], May 25 (ANI): With Team India set to travel to UK on June 2 for the World Test Championship final and the five-match Test series against England, the Indian players - barring those from Mumbai -- started their 14-day quarantine in Mumbai on May 19. They have been joined by those from Mumbai on Monday and the bunch - led by Virat Kohli - is undergoing quarantine separately and will join the group before taking the charter to England.

New Delhi [India], May 6 (ANI): With the 14th edition of the Indian Premier League postponed, players have been heading home. But unfortunately for someone like Chennai Super Kings batting coach Michael Hussey, he will have to wait for a COVID-19 negative result before he can leave the country. And this is why the franchise has flown him from Delhi to Chennai in an air ambulance.
Speaking to ANI, a senior CSK official said that both Hussey and bowling coach L Balaji were flown into Chennai to ensure better control over the situation. The official went on to confirm that skipper MS Dhoni will be leaving for Ranchi in the afternoon.

New Delhi [India], May 4 (ANI): The 14th edition of the Indian Premier League has been postponed as the country battles the second COVID-19 wave. BCCI Secretary Jay Shah has made it clear that safety of each and every person involved with the league was the priority.
Speaking to ANI, Shah said that keeping an eye on the current COVID-19 situation, the BCCI and IPL Governing Council decided to postpone the league.

New Delhi [India], April 16 (ANI): The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) held its seventh Apex Council meeting virtually on Friday and the members discussed the way forward for the upcoming T20 World Cup with an eye on the coronavirus situation in the country.
