The Sonoma County board of supervisors voted to declare a local state of emergency because of the kincade fire. The agreed to extend the previous Emergency Declaration for the Public Safety power shut off. Allie rasmus was at the meeting that just wrapped up in joins us live with the latest. Reporter declaring that local Cuming County with state of emergency is the first step for the county to eventually apply for state funding to pay for the kincade fire. The National WeatherService Canceled a high wind advisory because wind below 2500 feet has died down but, again, still under a red flag warning. Wind is Strong Enough and humidity is low enough to create critical fire weather conditions. Spot fires that can turn into bigger fires are possible. Firefighters will finally get a break after an intense week on the front lines because the wind well let up after today. That does not mean the area is safe.
