Live at the bridge with more on the cause. Reporter thats right, janelle. Caltrans now believes they know what started those two backtoback fires on the bridge. They say the fires were likely a report result of flares left behind by caltrans maintenance workers. Now, caltrans engineers spent the day investigating those mysterious fires after a blaze broke out this afternoon. That fire occurred on the very same spot on the bridge where flames erupt edmond night. A driver captured that fire and posted a photo on twitter. After reviewing bridge Surveillance Video today and finding flare remnants at the fire scene, caltrans now feels pretty confident they know the cause. Flares were left near the eastbound number one lane and it is thought at this point in time that they are the likely cause of the fire on monday night and today. Five people in modesto is in dud in san jose. 30yearold Martin Martinez caught in the south bay this morning after a statewide manhunt. Reporter 30yearold mar contain martinez, as you mentioned, is behind bars right now here at Santa Clara County jail. Last night, police launched a statewide manhunt for him. Today he was arrested this morning, at a parking lot in oak ridge mall. Martin martinez is accused of killing five people in this modesto home. Relatives say one of the victims is dr. Amanda cruz a physician withstand slaus county Health Service agency. Relatives say he also killed his own daughter a six month old daughter he fathered with cruz. Right now flood advisories up basically moving south along the boundary of the heavier rain focussed in the south bay and Santa Cruz Mountains through about 12 30 tonight through santa clara county.
