You can see the area of low pressure out to the north out across the northern great lakes and that trailing cold front that will work its way eastward as we get into tuesday afternoon really tuesday night and throughout the day on wednesday. So well talk about what we can expect. Its cloudy for most of us on tuesday for the majority of the day but well tracking light snow fall in our far northwestern suburbs and Lehigh Valley as we get into tomorrow afternoon. The steadiest of that snowfall arrives 11 00 p. M. Tomorrow night right through 7 00 a. M. This is one of the snowest moving systems that weve ever seen and the main impact of it for much of the area is going to be overnight tonight until noon on wednesday and affecting all areas eventually. The snow mainly coming tonight and the slippery wednesday morning commute across many parts of our area. Its already started in Lehigh Valley, burks county has had some snow this morning may have some this afternoon, but its not going to start much of chefrt county, montgomery counties, bucks county until after the afternoon rush today and from the philadelphia area down through south jersey until around 11 00 tonight and the first flakes will probably be melting in this area. Remember this same time yesterday the temperatures were in the upper 30s, we were falling a cold front came through, brought the gusty winds in, now the cold air is sitting over top of us, were pretty much in the teens the whole way through. North and west, its 12 in slatington and kutztown, 6 in lake harmony. Quakertown, 12. Warminster, 14. Kirkwood 14. Media, 13 degrees, vineland, 11. Hammonton 12. Gusty winds have subsided, theres still a bit of a breeze, but not nearly as gusty as yesterday. Windchills are five to 6 degrees colder. Clouds approach from the west, a dry day sunshine fading behind increasing clouds this afternoon. Thats the call from accuweather. Shooting for a high of 34. There are neighborhoods not as thick. Light fog for pottstown and doylestown, a mile and a half. Now, were seeing improvement at Philadelphia International. They were reporting quartermile visibility, now, half a mile. That should help at the airport. Youre find some pockets of fog. Its not as widespread into south jersey and delaware, still time to thicken up a bit. 48 degrees in the suburbs. 50 right now and climbing at the airport. Even though the suns not up, starting to see wind picking up at 9 miles an hour and thats why the fog is starting to ease. 51 degrees in delaware. A few sprinkles a little mist along with the fog but doesnt last. Well get sunshine this afternoon. Look at the springlike temperatures. 60s and low 70s. We could see some records fall later today.
