Hermine made landfall this morning in northern florida as a hurricane, the first to hit that state since 2005. A man was killed by a fallen tree. Tonight, hermine is a tropical storm, churning up the coast with torrential rain, damaging wind and dangerous seas. Tracking hermine and we could feel some of the effects today . A little breeze in the afternoon hours, about 300 miles off the coast of maryland, so far offshore not seeing any effects or any clouds out there. The official forecast calls for it to meander in this general direction and hang out before zipping out to sea as we head to thursday and friday.
