york. you get up to 8 inches in some of these communities. that s a summer s worth of rain that they got in a single day, no surprise we are talking about major flooding when you look at some of those issues. now, all of that rain has now settled up in the vermont area where folks as we speak so far today have seen anywhere from 4 inches to 6 inches of rain. those are the areas where the rain is continuing to fall. hardest hit areas yesterday now clearing off and that rain has lifted further to the north. upstate new york seeing very heavy rain. northern vermont, new hampshire. areas where this rain is still falling as we speak. flooding likely still going to be an issue as we watch this entire system drift off further to the north. we are still under an extreme flood threat across the entire state of vermont. all the way through today. taking you into tomorrow morning. and that s how long it s going to take for this big rain system to eventually move its way out of thi ....
