× Health Officer Janet Castro (center) has been pivotal to the vaccine rollout in North Bergen. North Bergen has issued over 40,000 COVID-19 vaccines to residents, according to the township. The number includes vaccinations administered through the local site as well as other sites that the Health Department administers through a shared services agreement. Hudson Reporter Celebrate Earth Day with Hudson County Lincoln Park The Hudson County Improvement Authority, in partnership with Hudson County, will host two Earth Day celebrations in North Bergen and Jersey City. The events keep the HCIA’s 30-year tradition of observing Earth Day and will comply with social distancing regulations. The first event will be held April 17 at Braddock Park in North Bergen near the 90th Street and Bergenline Avenue entrance.
