New this morning the governor of South Carolina expected to sign a bill today that will remove the Confederate Flag from the state capital grounds there. The South Carolina house of representatives passed a bill, that was after hours of emotional, sometimes tearful debate. Once Governor Haley signs the bill, the flag should come down within 24 hours. Haley and a lot of her fellow lawmakers are responding to calls from across the country to remove that flag after the racially motivated killing of black worshipers in charleston. Ballots. The end of today the total number of early voters currently at 432,000 in clark county is anticipated to get near a half million. That means clark county is on track to beat the amount [ lost audio ]. From 2012 when 51 percent of registered voters voted early. Most of those earlier voters i spoke with say the biggest reason for coming out early is avoiding those lines. I spoke with this is his first time voting early. Its no secret this election so far has been historic. Like so many others, he wants to make sure his voice is heard but he wants to do so in a timely manner. We saw a whole lot of folks rush on to two omni ride commuter buses going into d. C. , one to the pentagon, the other to the state department. They were in a hurry to get out of this dangerously cold weather. Were dressing in layers on a morning like this is a must. And there is also great concern for those who are without shelter in these kinds of conditions all around the region.
