Still brown and stubby pastures where her cattle should be grazing. We should be green and a foot tall and not worried about where the next meal is going to come from. Reporter for now it comes from the back of the pickup. She started her own meals or wheels program, 1400pound alfalfa bales which come from oregon and cost 300 are hauled out to the cattle and dropped off like emergency rations. The cattle feed off the bale but it will be gone in a day. I cant afford to keep feeding these cattle. I will have to get out of the cattle business otherwise. You know, i cant continue to do it. I cant afford to. Reporter so what she and other ranchers have had to do is sell off their stock so there will be fewer mouths to feed. About a quarter of her 200 head are gone but that cant go on for long. We can get through may and thats it. He rolled into the next lane and another car hit him. This time an older model black mercedes benz. The man got trapped underneath. The mercedes dragged him for a while before stopping. The driver is an elderly gentleman who didnt realize that he had hit anybody and thats why he kept going, dragging the victim so far. And yes weather was apparently a factor. The weather probably played a role in a fatal accident in vallejo. A man was struck by two cars on broadway last night. He was trapped under the second car and dragged for about a mile before somebody got the driver to stop near a park. By then, it was too late. We have had some heart rain and its hard rain and its wet out. That probably had something to do with it. Thats more reason to slow down driving.
