The 32-degree line is down to the deep south. there are not many locations in the entire country that don t have a wind chill below freezing this morning. of course, the snow and the sleet and freezing rain has been the story. areas of northern alabama picked up 6 inches of snow. atlanta got three, four inches on the ground. many jack knifed tractor-trailers out here. interstate 95 is shut down at the current time. that snow is really spreading through south carolina. you re getting a dump of heavy snow. difficult to travel. notice the freeze line in blue. it is south of myrtle beach and near charleston. north of there is bad. from charlotte to raleigh, not a fun morning commute for you either. so some of the selected snowfall totals today, atlanta maybe ending up three or four total for you. charlotte, four to eight. we will worry about the northeast and the nor easter tomorrow. 14 inches. whoa. careful out there. big numbers for s anl and ty ....
