governors when they're republicans for complaining, for being hard-hearted, and i think all of that is changing right now. they're discovering the border for the first time, and i think it's going to cause them all kinds of headaches. it also, oddly, it's a little baffling as mccarthy said, they knew this was coming. if they wanted to get rid of things like remain in mexico, if they wanted to get rid of title 42, they had the right to do that, but they also were obligated to come up with a replacement x they haven't done that. so they own this issue now. but politically, it's a little mist pieing because this is an issue that really plays to donald trump's strength. he proved that a republican could run hard on border security and win, and for all those democrats who think world will end if donald trump is reelected, it's odd they would want to the play to his strength and sort of serve this up for him. paul: yeah, dan, so just try ogy that jason posed which is why did the democrats let this happen?
