Yadgiri (Karnataka) [India], December 17 (ANI): Karnataka's Minister of Animal Husbandry Prabhu Chauhan on Wednesday alleged that whoever was protesting at the border of the national capital were not farmers but Congress workers.
Addressing the media in Yadgiri district the Minister said, "Whoever was protesting at the border of the national capital were not farmers but Congress workers. Farmers do not protest like this and they will always prefer working on their land. Narendra Modi government is working for the betterment of the farmers, but Congress is misguiding them."

The mass emergence took place in the Reserva Biologica do Abufari (Abufari Biological Reserve), where WCS Brazil conservationists have been monitoring adult females and their nests before, during, and after the birth of the hatchlings.

BENGALURU: Soon after the House assembled, Deputy Chairman Dharme Gowda, a JDS MLC, occupied the Chairman’s seat even as the quorum bell was ringing and the Chairman who was in his office was yet to arrive inside the House. Angry legislators rushed to the well and physically dragged Gowda from the seat. While the BJP accused the Chairman of holding on to power by rejecting the no-confidence motion without placing it before the House, the Congress blamed the ruling party of trying to prevent the Chairman from entering the House and making deputy chairman occupy the chair even when the chairman was in his office.

Once the Karnataka legislative council was widely known as a forum of intellectuals, counting among its members several academics and scholars. But due to so-called 'suitcase politics', over the past decade, the upper house has turned into a hub of the uber-rich who can virtually buy seats. And observers say the situation has become such that some members of the house now behave like goons. One such example was seen on Tuesday when Congress and Janata Dal(Secular) and Bharatiya Janata Party legislators clashed.

Bengaluru (Karnataka) [India], December 15 (ANI): The Karnataka Legislative Council was on Tuesday adjourned sine die, following forceful removal of Deputy Chairman of the Legislative Council from the Chair by Congress MLCs.
Congress MLCs heckled and pushed Deputy Chairman of the Legislative Council, SL Dharme Gowda, (JDS MLC) from his seat.
Talking about the forceful removal of the chairman of the legislative councilCongressKarnataka MLC Prakash Rathod said "BJP and JDS made the Chairman sit in the Chair illegally when House was not in order. Unfortunate that the BJP is doing such unconstitutional things. Congress asked him to get down from the Chair. We had to evict him as it was an illegal sitting."
