Fifth floor where crews have had their ladders up inside of this Apartment Building at 1893 morris avenue. It appears the flames began in one apartment quickly spread to other units forcing hundreds of residents to evacuate. We saw some of them being treated by ems here on the scene with oxygen masks for smoke inhalation and there are four overall injuries two of them minor two serious. All of them civilans. We spoke with some of the people forced outside of their homes. I smelled it and i could hear the commotion. And then what happened . I got my family out. When i came out i saw all of the flames. Now again firefighters telling us four injuries, four civilan injuries here at the scene two of them serious and the other two minor. It appears they are starting to wrap up the scene and have since pulled their ladders out are told is about under control at this hour but of course we will continue monitoring the situation for you ....

Researchers at Mercer University in Macon, Ga., authenticated the head, which was brought to the United States by a professor decades ago, and turned it over to Ecuadorean officials in 2019.

No bigger than a fist, the shrunken head had nonetheless become a major headache.
The head, a mummified Amazonian war trophy called a tsantsa, had been in the possession of Mercer University in Macon, Ga., for decades. Over that time, it was puzzled over by professors, used as a prop in a John Huston comedy and displayed in a university museum. And in 2019, it was returned to Ecuadorean officials but only after it was authenticated with a 33-item checklist, according to an article published this week by Mercer ....

Wise Blood has been authenticated as a real human head after being on display at a university in Georgia for decades.
It will now be returned to Ecuador, its country of origin. The head, called “tsantsa” in Amazonian languages, came to be in the university’s possession after a former faculty member got it while serving in the military.
The now-deceased biologist Jim Harrison came across the artefact while travelling in Equador in 1942, according to a research paper. The tsantsa became a part of the university’s collection after Dr Harrison died in 2016. ....

A grim artifact that had been on display for decades in a Georgia university has been authenticated as a human head taken from a slain enemy by an Amazonian warrior almost a century ago and it is now on its way back to where it came from.
Researchers at Mercer University in Macon say their tests show that the shrunken head called a tsantsa in Amazonian languages is a genuine shrunken head made in a laborious ceremony of removing its skull and flesh, stitching shut its eyes and mouth, boiling it and then filling it with hot sand and stones. ....
