But what many do not see are the Cromer Shoal chalk beds, a unique marine environment that is home to the town’s famous crabs and is currently at the centre of a debate involving the fishing community, conservationists and Natural England. The chalk beds, located off the coast between Weybourne and Happisburgh, were designated a Marine Conservation Zone (MCZ) in 2016. Since the MCZ was created, Natural England (NE) has been investigating the health of the chalk beds and the effect of potting - the method of using pots to fish for crabs and lobsters - on them. ....
Seattle-area gaming studio V1 Interactive, creator of ‘Disintegration,’ is shutting down March 8, 2021 at 1:42 pm Disintegration, announced on Monday that it’s shutting down. V1, based in Redmond, Wash., had been working on Disintegration since 2015, and released it last year through the New York-based publisher Private Division. Around 30 employees are affected by the closure. “At V1, our priority has been to the wellbeing of our employees,” studio head Marcus Lehto wrote on Twitter. “We’ve been transparent with them about the state of things for months and are making this decision now so they still have ample time to search for new jobs while being supported by our studio.” ....
