Brasilia, Dec 30 (Prensa Latina) The government of Sao Paulo received 1.5 million doses of CoronaVac, the Covid-19 vaccine developed by the Chinese biopharmaceutical company Sinovac Biotech in association with Brazil's Butantan Institute.
The shipment, the sixth and last of the year from China, arrived on a commercial flight to the Cumbica airport in Guarulhos, Greater Sao Paulo.
The new batch of Sinovac brings the total of received doses to 10.6 million.
The first 120 thousand doses arrived in the country on November 19th. The second, comprising one million doses, landed on December 3rd. Another two million doses were received later on the 18th.
