and surrounded the central part of the park. if you take a look out there. there are police officers in riot gear. what s happening now is the protesters had barricaded themselves around the tent of dreams, that is the mcpherson statute at the center of the park. they are now surrounded by mounted police and police in riot gear. it sounds like they are taking down some of the impromptu barricades set up by the demonstrators. there had been rumors and general sense something would happen today. they thought it would happen a lot earlier. about 25 minutes ago, we did have police move into the park. police have set up roadblocks in the area around kay street, 15th street, surrounding the roadblock today. overhead, we had a helicopter illuminating the park from above. it was obvious something was going on. kind of sense of controlled bedlam among the protesters. they had worked out a plan once this happened. we spoke to a protester a veteran of the occupy wall street moveme ....
