good to see you. and thanks to you at home for joining us. really happy to have you here. happy monday. so in september, you might remember there was a big strike. united autoworkers went on strike. they called it a stand-up strike, which means they didn t strike every single factory, every single facility all at once. they strategically picked individual plants to strike and picket. and it was so they could basically keep up the pressure on the companies but also be nimble about it while the negotiations were going on. a strike is about what leverage you can use against the companies. this was a strategy that was about fine tuning their leverage. so they did a stand-up strike. that said, it was not a small thing. it was a huge strike. it was the first time ever that the uaw went on strike against all three major u.s. car companies all at once. but they did it. and in the end, it paid off hugely. the strike ultimately lasted about a month and a half. it lasts 46 days. ....
