i was heartened to see that mark kelly sat down with bret baier yesterday. and he sounded like the guy i thought he was going to be when he got elected he has been invisible until he decided to run for re-election. a military guy with a security background. obviously extremely bright as an astronaut, but he spoke and he sounded, you know, he sounded like henry cuellar yesterday in talking about how bad the border is. listen. >> it's been a crisis for my entire time in office. you know, times it gets a little bit better. i was on the phone a couple days ago with the mayor of yuma, doug nichols, the numbers are a little bit better but they are still way too high. it's a real challenge for border patrol and cbp to do their jobs. it's not secure. my attitude about this is to listen to the professionals. listen to the border patrol agents, the guys on the ground who have to deal with this every single day. and when they will tell you in some plates we need barriers.
