Announcer President Biden awarded the medal of honor to vietnam war veteran retired captain larry taylor for his actions while in combat. In june 1968, he flew a cobra attack helicopter into heavy enemy fire to rescue four service members. He also earned the silver star, the bronze star, and two distinguished flying crosses for his actions that day. From the white house, this is 20 minutes. As we recognize him for his courageous actions in vietnam in june of 1968, we honor the sacred calling and sense of higher purpose that he and his crew embodied that day.
