The vaccine was approved in India for restricted use in emergency for adults, adolescents, and young children, as well as a heterologous booster dose for those aged 18 years and above. The Hyderabad-based vaccine maker has already supplied 100 million doses of CORBEVAX to the Indian government. The WHO EUL will help the company continue developing Covid-19 vaccines.
