From the vine street expressway this morning. The expressway is closed in both directions from 17th to 23rd streets because of ice. The water came from here. Its a Water Line Break at a garage at 17th and callow hill. The action cam is live at the expressway. Penn dot salt trucks and water crews are on the scene to cut off the water and remove the ice from the expressway. Were getting word that the ice isnt the only thing or the garage isnt the only thing thats causing the problem. Alarm fire in old city firefighters are still on the scene and residents not allowed back in what remains of their home. Tonight the work continues to make sure this location is safe. Sunday night and the big story on action news is a continued battle to secure the scene of an Early Morning fire that went to four alarms before firefighters were able to get it under control. More than 160 people had to be evacuated from apartments and nearby hotel rooms and tonight firefighters remain on the scene.
