Mexican Construction Tycoon Sells Palm Beach Manse For $23M

Mexican construction entrepreneur Maximo Haddad sold a nearly 11,000-square-foot mansion in Phipps Estates in Palm Beach for $23 million.
Records show Haddad-led 228 Las Brisas Corporation sold the two-story home at 228 Via Las Brisas to 228 Via Las Brisas LLC, a Florida corporation led by Dan E. Swanson.

Swanson and his wife, Karen Swanson, head the West Palm Beach-based development firm Addison Development, which developed the Phipps Estates neighborhood, according to its website. The house was built in 1996, records show.
Haddad was, at one point, the president of Panamanian construction company Pycsa, according to a document from the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh CIrcuit.
