Bedroom of one of the homes. Firefighters say he died of smoke inhalation. The cause of the fire is still under investigation. But firefighters say it did start outside between the two homes where youre looking at right now with our live shot. Before todays drama authorities believe dorth er held dorner held two women hostage at a different cabin for perhaps days. When he left with their vehicle they were allowed to escape and are safe. The Sheriffs Department insists the suspect was in the cabin. We believe that the person that barricaded himself inside the cabin and engaged in gunfire with our deputies and other Law Enforcement officers is still inside there even though the building burned.
