Headwaters Site Development, the entity behind the proposed Catlett Project, recently made a charitable donation of $1,000 to the Fauquier Community Food Bank & Thrift Store in Warrenton.
In the last three years, households eligible for food assistance received at least $95 more per month as part of a pandemic-era increase to combat hunger. But Wednesday, those benefits will expire, meaning a smaller monthly food budget for nearly 30 million Americans. PATH President/CEO Christy Connolly The Warrenton-based PATH Foundation has awarded more than $1.2 million in âFlexible Fundingâ grants. The grants to 38 area organizations support missions focused on community health and vitality. This grant cycle offered up to $75,000 in unrestricted general operating and program support for 501(c)3 nonprofit organizations, with PATH focusing on organizations and populations with the greatest needs.
Fauquier FISH (For Immediate Sympathetic Help) received a donation of 2,500 pounds of frozen salmon fillets from Kvarøy Arctic, a sustainable salmon farm located in Norway.
