Im dan thorn that developing news in the south bay tonight as San Jose Police responded to a man who was shooting a gun. This happened on kolmar drive just after 4 oclock this afternoon in front of the k and k apartments which is close to the ryen steam academy, which is an elementary school. The person shooting the gun was taken to a hospital with lifethreatening injuries after getting shot by a police officer. Were told no officers were hit by gunfire and a gun was recovered at the scene. Police say theyre going to be there for several more hours as they continue their investigation.
