Si la comissió no veu bé cap dels tres noms -a l’Església conviuen diversos corrents- aleshores el nNunci haurà de presentar una altra terna -o més, fins que hi hagi un candidat que faci el pes al Vaticà- i el nomenament pot anar per llarg

Quan el juny del 2019 Francesc Guisset (Llançà), Imma Colom (Tossa de Mar), Susagna Riera (Santa Coloma de Farners) i Montse Mindan (Roses) van acceptar la vara d’alcaldia, poc es podien imaginar com seria el seu mandat. La pandèmia ha obligat a “aparcar coses de l’acord” amb altres forces, va dir ahir Mindan a Roses, perquè calia “prioritzar” la lluita contra el virus. Ha estat una constant a tots els pobles i ciutats. “Entre tots ho hem fet tot”, deia dilluns Riera a Santa Coloma en el ple telemàtic de comiat. El virus va obligar a quedar-se a casa unes setmanes i els càrrecs electes han treballat a distància i/o des del despatx per ajudar els veïns a superar un imprevist gegant. Esperem que, fins al 2023, la pandèmia deixi de causar estralls.
