CSPAN Key Capitol Hill Hearings October 21, 2014

I have spent time with the parents of children, who suffer from seizure disorders. Last year when we voted in the senate to allow those lawabiding citizens and folks who care so much about their children to have access to that cannabis oil treatment, i was proud. I was disappointed that the gridlock prevent it from taking place and would like to see better leadership at the time. I do support that and will 30 to do so and would gladly signed legislation. With respect to marriage, i believe in religious liberty and personal freedom and i do not believe that anyone should tell a church or religious organization who can be married, but i do believe the government when it calls to doling out right should do it equally. I take an oath to the constitution and would certainly continue to apollo to the constitution as long as it remains valid under the law. Your turn to answer a question ask a question. During the report and primary, you agree to make your recent income tax available but you h ....

Some stories have thousands of comments. Abusive behavior and profanity and such we try to flag and get rid of those. But it is a tough question; these comments. Do they affect our editorial decisions . Absolutely not. This is one thing i would totally disagree with you on good. I think the newspaper has the responsibility to take the racist comments off and has every ability to do that. You know, if they dont have enough people to do it, then hire some more people or dont run any comments. I think i would agree with that. If some of this is being blatantly racist i would love to lift theft that off. And we have one here who has killed thousands of racist comments. We dont want to see that crap on our website. There are going to be comments where disagree with but it is no reason to kill them off. But when you good that is where that comment may have been coming rop from. Some people are say he had different socks on. How dsome people are say he had different socks on. How did heaviest ....

We were able to cut down readmission rate dramatically and our emergency room rate dramatically. The only thing that went up in our database was primary care visits. Once again, not necessarily perfection but i think as a Clinical Study it was shown to be effective. And once again the reimbursement and the savings bears out that case. We also initiated some relatively interesting demonstration projects. We identified our congestive Heart Failure patients who were having problems with frequent readmissions. We did something very simple. We put scales in their house that automatically sent their weights directly to the doctors Electronic Medical records. Not a very expensive proposition. As soon as it was greater than a one pound change in the patients they got a phone call to find out what had changed and whether or no ....

Explicitly recognized, but critically managed in a manner which concludes that allowing any one of these matters to escalate into crisis conflict of war is mutually unacceptable. Thats the realist part. Whats the constructive part . The constructive part is this. If you look at the possibility of constructing genuine public goods between china and the u. S. , both bilaterally, regionally, and globally, the scope is, in fact, quite wide. If you look at a bilaterally, im a strong proponent of the early conclusion of the bilateral treaty for a simple reason. That is the more the two economies become enmeshed through investment, rather than just through trade, then, frankly, the more inseparable they become and the more their mutual interests in each others progress and advance becomes an indelible imprint within each country. So causing that investment treaty to come into being i think is a genuine public good. Because in the long term it will transform many elements of the relationship. ....

Agriculture issues, but talk about what it was to be an american, what it was like to be free and experience the types of opportunities that we have in america. So i understand why families want to come to the United States and experience that American Dream. But we are a nation of immigrants, and we are also a nation of laws. So we do need to enforce the existing laws, but i believe we also need to secure the border. That needs to be done first. I see it as more than just an immigration issue, but also one of National Security. Weve had lengthy questions here. Ill give you a real brief question now. Ms. Ernst, is there any scenario that you would support raising taxes on iowa voters . No. I believe that we can find ways to make our government more efficient without raising taxes on our hardworking iowans. I would like ....
