He was a white southern photographer and a was during the sitins that he had a change of heart and yet he was a segregationist when he walked in and when he walked out because he saw the quiet dignity of the demonstrators against the kind of mob mentality of his friends and neighbors. So his story is really told and then of course with his assassination which is in the book it tells the whole story of what happened and what happened to the movement after his removal from his seat.
