UEFA Congress approves statutes amendment and Ceferin can run in 2027

The UEFA Congress on Thursday voted in favour of the amendment to the statutes that will allow current president Aleksander Ceferin to stay in office for a further four years. That means that Ceferin, who has been the president of the European ruling body since 2016, will be able to run for re-election in 2027, when his current term ends.
