Emphasizing the cooperative role of the I2U2 summit, Israel's ambassador to India Naor Gilon has said that the grouping is "not against anyone,” adding that “it's for our people and for making the world a better place". The grouping of India, Israel, UAE & US held its first summit level meeting last week with two key projects being announced. Both projects, one on food projects and one on renewal energy will be undertaken in India.

The joint statement said that the United Arab Emirates will invest $2 billion to develop a series of integrated food parks across India under the framework of the four-nation grouping.

The I2U2 Grouping was conceptualized during the meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the four countries held on October 18 last year. 'Each country also has Sherpa-level interactions regularly to discuss the possible areas of cooperation,' the MEA said.

The leaders are expected to discuss joint economic projects to bolster economic cooperation under the framework of the coalition.
