And possibly out of the race, too. Good evening. President trump has urged china to put what he called a heavy move on north korea, after the regime said it has successfully tested an Intercontinental Ballistic Missile capable of carrying a nuclear warhead. Pyongyang claims the missile could strike anywhere on the planet. Western scientists are more sceptical, but say it could possibly reach as far as alaska. The launch is just days before World Leaders meet to discuss, among other things, north koreas weapons programme, which its pursuing despite international sanctions. The title is taken from a quote from ulysses s. Grant. He looked back on his career, and mountain memoirs, he writes frankly about the experiences he had, the good and the bad making for good reading. What he talk about late in life was his role in the u. S. Mexico war in 1846, and grant said, you know, at the time, i do not think there was ever a more wicked war than that waged on the United States by mexico so i thought at the time as a youngster only i had not moral courage enough to resign. Grant, of course, in the war was a young lieutenant, and i found this is really moving quote, and thats why its the title. The fact of the matter is grant was not alone in thinking that the u. S. Invasion of mexico was somehow wicked. One thing that i talked about in the book and ill talk about tonight is the evolution of the American Public in the course of the u. S. Mexico war, not a long war by any means from being really enthuse yays tix and in favor of invading mexico to largely turning in
It is to run for president. So i just think theres a one in three chance, a little less than a one in three chance that she doesnt run. By the way, biden turns 74 right after the election in 2016. Yep. And just not that all of you are not much better at math than i am, so shed be 77 at the end of the a second term. So you just think that and just say, you know, does she feel like it. But, again, if she runs, i think the odds are overwhelming that shed be the republican nominee excuse me, democratic nominee. [laughter] she will have to deal with how do i become more relevant to be future than to the past, and she cant run a, hey, remember how great the economy was when my president , when my husband puz president back in the 1990s . Keep in mind the youngest voters will be 2 years old when her husband left office, so, you know, shes going to have to run a very Different Campaign than she ever has before. And i would just add i think she has to dump shade herself differentiate herself fr
