The winds, and the winds are much lighter now compared to wh ere they were yesterday and even this morning. Yesterday we were seeing gusts between 30 and 35 miles an hour. Now the winds have calmed down in a very light fashion across the area, so were not seeing gusts across the region, and very little in the ways of wind windchill, either. Everybody is mainly in the 20s, just below freezing in danbury, 19 in islip. The winds are not all that strong anymore.
