Gatheringpeople doing essential work and need to work in close proximity, we need to have that happen. Lets not gather for things that could otherwise be delayed or be done on zoom or in other virtual ways. With regard to specific out breaks, i cant comment on drawing conclusions from the gathering at dolores park except to say thats behavior that were very concerned about it. Our message continue continues o not gather unless absolutely essential. Do not gather out side your immediate household. If you do, wear those face masks and use good hygiene and socially distance when possible. Look, when i walk or drive around the city, we know this is still not happening to the degree it needs to be. We need to hit that 80 mark. Lets go for 90 or one hundred. We need to crush this curve. Thank you. The next set of questions are from the associated press. How have the states problems with cal ready effected San Francisco effective reproduc ....

You may address the board once per agenda item for two minutes. Item number 1, call to order. [roll call] president tsen here. Director dunlop here. Vice president lai here. Director richardson here. We do have a quorum. President tsen excellent. Before we begin, hello, directors and members of the public. Thank you so much for joining us today. I am sorry that we still to conduct our meetings by teleconferencing. And i ask that everybody be patient as there is a lag time sometimes to hear the Public Comment. But our able secretary kate austin will guide us through the process. I would like to start the meeting with a quote, whose life and words inspired so many of us. He wrote a letter which was published and i quote from that letter. He says, ordinary people with extraordinary visions can redeem the soul of america by getting into what i call good trouble, necessary trouble, building and participating in the democratic process a ....

SFGTV BOS Rules Committee July 12, 2024

The recommendations written in 2009 about how they are thinking about that. Obviously, we need to reconsider that. I totally understand the board of supervisors position. This is the wrong time for fare increases. We should be using every other tool before we get there. I get why s. F. M. T. A. Was between a rock and hard place. Lets remove that and make that not a problem any more. Lets revise how we think about fare increases. I get where that rationale may have been attractive 10 years ago. It doesnt make sense now. Lets move forward to figure out how to stabilize m. T. A. Without doing that on the backs of our most vulnerable riders. A couple months ago you werent clear. Now you will not increase fares during the recovery or pandemic . I would like to look at weighs to avoid doing that in the future. I dont want to increase them now or going forward. I dont think there are better ways to support muni. I have heard that loud and clear. That is what we need to do. This is so importan ....

SFGTV Planning Commission July 12, 2024

Not to build housing. I want places for my kids to be able to live. I want others to enjoy what i enjoy which is housing security. Thank you. [indiscernible]. Im here to speak in support of the lot. Im personally squared when i transfer i wont be able to come back home and start a family. This is a perfect opportunity for that. What better way to have the inaugural day than starting off on the west side. Im really excited for the project and hopefully you can support it as well. Im a neighbor in this area. I dont support the project only because i dont support the height of it. Its a complete mismatch with the neighborhood. I love that were adding more Affordable Housing to the neighborhood. I think we need to consider the height of it. Most housing is two stories, this is four stories. Its a complete mismatch. Im a resident of San Francisco in d8 and a renter. I strongly ....

SFGTV SFCTA Full Board TIMMA Board Treasure Island Mobility Management July 12, 2024

Hot teams are frustrated because they dont have the rooms to offer. I think its something in closed session we can probe more, but i think its something thats important that we make sure that the boards perspective is being reflected in some of these in this Settlement Agreement and these Settlement Agreements. And, you know, obviously, we have the ability to vote something up or down, but its also to the extent that i think this is going to reoccur. This is the elephant in the room. Theres other problems that i have with the settlement, but the elephant in the room is theres several elements, and its my view as a lawyer that these lawsuits are elements to get the units because the mayor wont follow what the board of supervisors have passed, and so folks are desperate and filing lawsuits, and maybe theyll get and in the tenderloin, we got action, but we didnt get ....
